Designing for How You Imagine Your Home Will Feel

~ The owners were not happy with the layout the design-build company had produced for their Queen Anne (Seattle) bungalow.
~ Guests had to use the master bath as a powder room.
~ They love to entertain.
African Ribbon Mahogany & Bamboo
Wish List
~ A separate powder room.
~ Flexible eating arrangements.
~ Re-use our refrigerator.

Solution & Gains
~ Landon recommended cutting down the wall to that surrounded the stairs to the basement. This greatly opened up the room.
~ Next, he saw how to take a corner of the master bath and turn it into a powder room, running the bamboo up the wall behind the sink!
~ The end of the sink counter angles out and is as wide as the table, which means the counter height table can function as an extension of the sink counter. This, in turn, opens up the pathway to the deck..

A 8" x 36"-wide copper trough sink is just right for this "closet" powder room, off the kitchen.

The  Kraus saber faucet corresponds to the circular mirror above. The bamboo flooring runs up the wall, effectively enlarging the room.
